Blue Bottle Marine, one of Australia’s largest suppliers of fishing and marine products, was experiencing significant growth in online sales through their BigCommerce store. However, as web order volumes surged, they encountered a major operational challenge as data was siloed between their BigCommerce platform and their Retail Express point-of-sale (POS) system. This disconnect created inefficiencies in managing orders, pricing and inventory, hindering their ability to scale effectively.
To keep up with their rapid growth, Blue Bottle Marine needed a seamless integration between these platforms to centralise operations and streamline data flow, all while minimising disruptions to their business to their business. Additionally, they required tailored solutions, including dynamic pricing and shipping transit protection, to enhance both customer experience and operational efficiency.

For this project, MyIntegrator leveraged its extensive expertise to implement a high-speed integration between BigCommerce and Retail Express. The efficient sync process not only ensured that new eCommerce web orders from BigCommerce flowed smoothly into Retail Express but also incorporated a dynamic pricing data integration for their entire online catalogue.

To further streamline operations, we implemented bulk product uploads & dynamic tabs, significantly improving website functionality. The bulk upload feature enabled easy mass product updates via CSV, making it easier for Blue Bottle Marine to manage their inventory efficiently. Meanwhile, dynamic tabs improved content organisation on product pages, enhancing user experience and simplifying navigation.
