THE CHALLENGE

Confast, a trusted provider of home improvement, construction and gardening supplies, had been using MYOB EXO to manage its business operations. However, as the company grew, it became clear that a more flexible and feature-rich CRM solution was needed, in addition to EXO, to handle sales and customer relationships efficiently. They decided to connect  Zoho CRM to their existing platform but needed a seamless transition when bringing over crucial data such as company and contact details, company relationships, product and stock information, pricing structures, and bundled kit products.

Confast also needed a smooth integration of quotes and sales orders without disrupting day-to-day operations. A key consideration was making sure that new custom quotes in Zoho wouldn’t interfere with existing quotes migrated from EXO.

This involved not only importing individual product details but also ensuring that the complex structure of kit products (which included bundled components) was successfully recreated in Zoho.

One of the most important aspects was the seamless transfer of sales orders and quotes. We took a customised approach to ensure that existant quotes from EXO were preserved in Zoho CRM, without causing any conflicts when generating new quotes. This customisation allowed Confast to continue using their existing data while taking full advantage of Zoho’s features for generating new, accurate quotes.

Throughout the entire process, we provided hands-on support to the Confast team, offering guidance and training to ensure they were fully equipped to navigate the new CRM system.
