eCommerce made easy for for Joel's Garage Gear

One of Australia’s most experienced suppliers of garage equipment, Joel’s Garage Gear, were looking to upgrade and consolidate their business processes into the MYOB Advanced ERP, a procedure which also presented some problems; fulfilment and inventory management tasks which used to be done in their own platforms were now delegated to Advanced. JGG sought to avoid unwieldy and unfamiliarly processes, and so MyIntegrator were brought in to streamline and automate their eCommerce website with their ERP.

With a custom MyIntegrator plugin, WooCommerce integrations are fast to test and set up. We were swiftly able to set up a sync of product inventories from MYOB to WooCommerce, and a sync back of new eCommerce orders into the ERP. From this initial integration we enhanced the sales-order processing with a payment sync, so that WooCommerce deposits are sent to MYOB as well. It was a little trickier to incorporate the multi-warehouse functionality; the site was modified to accomodate and showcase different stock locations, and then connected with the inventory sync for full automation. Finally, support for pre-orders was implemented, linking MYOB purchase orders to requests from WooCommerce. In a few weeks, Joel’s Garage Gear had an automated Woo-MYOB integration to complement their new MYOB Advanced ERP.
