One of Australia’s finest suppliers of specialty cards, gifts and homewares, McMillan, was seeking to elevate their eCommerce with a new BigCommerce website in order to take advantage of its robust features and capabilities. However, as a B2B business, McMillan found themselves contending with the difficulties of online wholesaling: complex customer-specific pricing, large product catalogs, larger inventory sizes and drawn-out invoicing processes. Wanting to improve their processes as well as their website, McMillan brought in MyIntegrator to integrate and automate their BigCommerce store with their JIWA 7 ERP.

With a brand-new BigCommerce website to contend with, this integration gave us the chance to not only connect with JIWA, but to also build some new integrated modules directly into the storefront. Firstly, we connected the product catalog, customer base and stock levels between the webstore and ERP, automating many of the most menial data transfer tasks. With customer account information on the BigCommerce site, it was easy to then integrate the BundleB2B app for unified customer management, and to establish wholesale pricing, with per-customer quantity breaks, debtor-specific rates and customer class/group prices on their BigCommerce store. Finally, a ‘recently purchased’ section was added with our custom ‘Restock-Rapid’ app, allowing customers to browse and quickly re-order products from their purchasing history. In this way, all of the core processes of B2B BigCommerce management have been automated, and McMillan card can enjoy a faster, easier and more powerful website!
