THE CHALLENGE
Yarra Yering, one of the Yarra Valley’s oldest and most esteemed wineries, has seen remarkable growth in online sales of their premium wines through BigCommerce. However, as web order volumes grew, managing their eCommerce operations became increasingly challenging due to split data across their BigCommerce platform and their Square point-of-sale (POS) system. In order to centralise operations and create a data flow between these platforms, Yarra Yering turned to MyIntegrator to seamlessly integrate product inventory, orders and payments between the two platforms. The key challenge we faced was designing an integration that aligned perfectly with Yarra Yering’s unique custom payment and invoice rules.



THE SOLUTION
For this project, MyIntegrator drew upon all of our extensive expertise in system integration to swiftly deploy a robust data pipeline connecting BigCommerce and Square. Leveraging this experience, we quickly grasped the business process and data flow, enabling us to build an order integration that seamlessly mirrors web orders from BigCommerce into Square. These orders are conditionally generated as either web orders or invoices, depending on requirements. Additionally, we integrated web payments as a deposit into Square, allowing online customers to be matched with existing Square profiles or to create new ones effortlessly. This integration also extended support for company purchases, further streamlining the overall payment experience. To ensure consistency across platforms, we implemented a fully automated product inventory sync, guaranteeing that online stock levels remain accurate and up-to-date at all times.
Additionally, we implemented a HubSpot customer sales integration, enabling a one-way sync from Square to HubSpot. This ensures that all sales and customer data from Square are consistently reflected in HubSpot. We also established a one-way sync between Redzy and HubSpot, capturing bookings and transactional details to keep records up to date.
