Integrating Invoices

Here’s a quick overview of one of our most powerful integrated modules: pay-online invoices! Particularly well-suited to B2B businesses, this tool provides an easy and secure way for customers to manage and pay their invoices online through an integrated eCommerce store.

Leveraging an integration between a storefront and an ERP, we add a new section to the online customer account page, which allows viewing of all online and offline orders, pre-orders and unpaid invoices, drawn from live data in the ERP. Customers can also use a one-time payment link to pay invoices, and have that payment reflected back into the accounting system – our back-end integration and automation can handle all the tricky details. The net effect of this module is that customers can manage all their invoices online, even for orders that are originally made offline; it’s a unified and comprehensive solution for streamlining the billing process.

What’s more, this module is endlessly customisable, and it can be moulded to exactly suit a business’ selling style. A common add-on is customer credit-notes; eCommerce accounts have their credit integrated from the ERP and can use credit notes to close invoices in the modules, with automated reconciliation. Further workflows can also be added to handle customers with outstanding balances – they can be redirected to the overdue invoices, sent follow-up notifications, or be restricted from placing new orders. Additionally, access to different features can be limited to certain customer groups and/or roles, so some might only be able to view invoices, whilst others can print and pay. Features like these ensure the B2B benefits of the module, and we always modify it to conform to a client’s customers.
